Rebuild of a 150 year old roof - to last another 150 years.

I would definitely recommend Mark and his team. The project was the rebuilding of my 150-year-old roof with an area of around 180 sq. metres. This was complicated by the roof being 3/4 Yorkshire stone and 1/4 slate, with valleys between elevations. Mark proposed a solution using as much of the original material as possible to preserve the appearance, industrial glass fibre to replace the perished lead in the valleys and high quality gutters to replace flimsy plastic. Fortunately the main timbers were sound but many of the laths had to be replaced. The chimneys also needed attention. Mark and his team were a pleasure to work with. They are professional, competent, hard working and courteous. I was kept informed of progress, any problems were quickly sorted out and the work was completed by the expected date. My wife was pleased with the attention to detail and tidiness. All together, a stress free experience with work to the highest quality. A roof to last another 150 years.
